SR2 housing project

This project was established in 2004 to support the needs of those who may be at high risk and vulnerable. The project was specifically to provide a warm comfortable space for those who are among the most vulnerable within <place>Sunderland and <place><placetype>County <placename>Durham, who through no fault of their own are fleeing domestic violence, sexual abuse and homophobic attacks.

In many cases these young people have no alternative but to find unsuitable accommodation. This may include having sex for a safe place to stay and are at risk of being introduced to the drug culture. Through our research some of these young people have fallen in to crime rings
