Hi Folks- it has been suggested that we get a sub-group together to 
start thinking about what we do for Pride on July 12th and we need to 
form a Federation funding sub-group.   Could let me know if interested 
in either or both of these sub-groups and your availability for 
meetings-eg daytime or evenings and I'll organise some dates.

Northern Pride is a new and exciting Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and
 Transgender ˜not-for-profit" festival for the North East. Representatives
 of the LGBT communities from across the region have come together to
 ensure that the North East has a Pride celebration that represents and
 celebrates our diversity.

The range of events being organized as part of the festival should
 ensure that there is something for everyone: whether you want to learn more
 about LGBT history or dance the night away, admire the work of LGBT
 artists or chill out at a Pink Picnic.

What's more, on Saturday 12th July Northern Pride will be organizing
 the North East's first Pride Parade to include floats. The Parade is
 open to the whole LGBT community and our friends so get the glad rags
 out and get painting those banners as we take over Newcastle city
 centre.
